Tuesday, January 12th
So what's going on with this site? I'm currently at my boyfriends without my laptop, but at some point in the next couple days I'll be going through and cleaning some things up. For now, just to let y'all know what's going on: I'm about to start my last semester of college, which is really exciting. I'm just now getting back to work on those fanfictions I've got up at ff.net and twilighted (and sometime soon, though no promises when, I do want to transfer them to my own server, so they'll be posted here). I'm hard at work getting ready for the semester, as well as working on my BFA and Honors program thesises (sp? plural?) You may also notice that Hush, Little One is now only an index page. Why? It is being transformed into non-fanfiction and will possibly be published in a very rewritten, not-Orlando-Bloom form. This is VERY excited, and the hushindex page will now be the information page for the status of that project. A few of my other stories may be about to go through similar treatments, but we'll get that all sorted out probably Thursday. Thursday will be house-cleaning day!
In the meantime, if you're wondering if I'm *ever* going to update anything, Emerald and Learning to Say No have both been updated within the past week. Happy reading. :)

Tuesday, April 21st
Happy sixth birthday to Phantom Reality! I know some of y'all have been following me from the very beginning and I appreciate it like you wouldn't believe. Especially now as I'm beginning my dive into the world of publication, that kind of support is such a huge help. So here's to all the wonderful people who constantly send me encouraging e-mails or leave love on the tag board; y'all make this site worth the money and time I put into it, haha.

As for updates; SayNo just got updated, but nothing else on the site at the moment. At the end of next week I'm going to weed through my short stories and put back up on the site anything I'm not interested in submitting for publication, and I've got a bunch of random things from my fiction class to put up. Right now I am BURIED in final papers and projects (have to go write a paper right now, actually), so writing has slowed almost to a halt, but summer is almost here and updates will pick back up --and I intend to work on more than just my fanfics this summer, though I'll also have to be getting my BFA thesis project done and working and traveling . . . it's definitely going to be a busy summer! :)

Saturday, April 11th
So I realize I've been MIA as far as this site is concerned. I've actually been updating my Twilight and Narnia fanfiction regularly, and Ivorwen is about to be updated as well. It's just been that this semester, my focus has been on those and then some other projects that are geared towards publication --if you notice, modern short stories have been removed in bulk because a couple of them are being edited and submitted for publishing. I'm sorry not much as been going on around the site, though, and that probably won't change until this semester is over because it is kicking my ass, to say the least. (My last final is May 6th, fyi.)

In the meantime, I've changed the links to the fanfiction stories to link directly to where they are hosted on ff.net since I wasn't keeping up with them via this site. I promise I have not abandoned this site (WOAH just realized, site birthday is coming up, isn't it?), nor the original stories posted on it. I beg for patience until the summer when I won't have an intensive coarseload demanding my attention. In the meantime, check out my Twilight and Narnia fanfiction (I've added a Twilight fanfic that has been started since my last update, Leaf Dances).

Thanks so much to those of you who are hanging in and continuing to encourage me. Especially as I begin work on my BFA creative thesis this summer (ack!), the encouragement is helpful beyond belief.

Friday, February 13th
Couple things for y'all tonight. First, for those of you interested in Gorilla and Photographs, I'm plugging away at updates for both of those stories. I keep hitting the wall with Photographs. Fortunately, I have a 5-day weekend this weekend, so I'm going to try SOOOO hard to get updates written for both of those. If I manage, I'll post them this weekend instead of waiting until Friday. :) What I DO have this time around is:
+ch. 11 of: twilight fanfiction: Learning to Say No
+new story: twilight fanfiction: F/stop
+2 chs. of ^
+new short story: twilight fanfiction: Heatwave [one-shot; nc-17]
+ch. 8 of: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning

Friday, February 6th
So, I think I've figured out what's going to happen with Photographs (some of you might have seen my note earlier). Unfortunately, that snag means I don't have an update for it tonight, but that's at the top of my priority list for next week. I'm also needing to update my Narnia fics, and Gorilla on the Bridge has been added, and of course Glory Bound. I wish I had time to just sit and work on updates, but I'm in the middle of a BUNCH of other projects. Two of my 10-minute plays have been selected to be preformed in a 10-Minute Play Festival at Emerson College in Boston (there are only 10 plays, so I'm 1/5 of the show, haha!). Plus I have some photographs about to go on display in Minneapolis. Tomorrow I'm starring in a short film for an undergrad film student. AND I'm getting together some submissions for a few local publications. So plenty of good things happening! Anyways, for tonight I only have a couple things because once again, I waited until I was really sleep to start updating. Sorry; I'll try and be better about it next week!
+chs. 9,10 of: twilight fanfiction: Learning to Say No
+ch. 5 of: LoTR fanfiction: Ivorwen

Friday, January 30th
Unfortunately, most of my writing time right now is going towards character sketches for my fiction class . . . which I'll post next week because I'm really, really tired right now and I have to get up in a few short hours to go do a photography project for school that is going to be the death of me. ANYWAYS, here is what I *do* have for you:
+chs. 6,7,8 of: twilight fanfiction: Learning to Say No
+intermission of: ob fanfiction: The 409
My goals for next week are Photographs, Ivorwen, and Glory Bound. What else do y'all want?

Friday, January 22nd
Sorry sorry sorry! Headed back to Boston and classes started this week. I've been writing a TON, but it's basically mostly been plays that won't be posted here . . . so here are a couple updates. I'll try and get some other stuff (409, Photographs, Ivorwen, and Glory Bound are at the top of the list) for next week. For now:
+ch. 7 of: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning
+new story: twilight fanfiction: Learning To Say No
+5 chapters of ^
Also, just to note, the Twilight fanfiction is alternate universe, all human . . . so basically it has nothing to do with Twilight except that I use the characters. So I don't know, but it might be just as enjoyable for a non-Twilight-fanperson to read it. I'd be interested to know, especially because it's highly likely I'll go back after it's done and change it into a non-Twilight story . . .

Friday, January 2nd
Three updates for y'all. Also, my tagboard had died, so I replaced it with a chatterbox. Chatter away! :)
+ch. 4 of: lotr fanfiction: Ivorwen
+ch. 9 of: lotr fanfiction: Little Elf
+ch. 6 of: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning
Also, just in case you're bored or curious, I now have an online photography portfolio, which I've put up at flickr. Ch-ch-check it out.

Tuesday, December 23rd
Hey y'all. I just realized today that once I leave for Oklahoma tomorrow I won't have an internet connection again until at least Sunday, so I thought I'd go ahead and post the three chapters I've gotten written this weekend. Sorry that they're all Narnia stuff; that's just apparently where my muse was. Hopefully I'll have some other chapters for y'all next week! Oh, and I hope everyone has a

Friday, December 19th
Two weeks, like I said! I'm afraid I don't have *much* for y'all this week because I actually didn't have time to write until this very evening, haha. This was the worse/busiest finals time I've ever had, and I literally wound up making myself sick from stress, so it's been crazy. But now I'm home for holiday, and I'll have at least a bit more time to write than I did the past couple weeks . . . though the holidays are still super busy, so don't hold me to too much. Do still send requests, though. :) For today, I have:
+ch.6 of: narnia fanfiction: Gemstone
+ch. 4 of: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning

Thursday, December 4th
So alas, I'm afraid I'm going to have to beg for SHORT hiatus. It's possible I'll be able to get something written to update with by next Friday (not this Friday), but I'm asking for patience and until the following week. I've gotten back from Thanksgiving to find myself BURIED in final projects, essays, last-minute literature assignments, writing portfolios, volunteer work, Christmas parties, and book readings to attend . . . needless to say, I don't have time to sleep, much less write (which is unfortunate because my brain is on FIRE right now.) So please bear with me and I'll be back in two weeks to continue with hopefully as many updates as I've been doing this fall.

Oh, and for those curious, in the month of November I wrote 59,614 words, thus winning Nanowrimo. Yay!

Oh, and I guess I do have a teensy update: added two poems to my poetry journal.

Friday, November 27th
Hey guys. Unfortunately, I have simply not had time to write ANY updates, and instead of rushing and driving myself mad, I'm taking the week off for Thanksgiving. Updates will resume next weekend instead. Oh, and
!

Friday, November 20th
Not as much tonight as I would have liked because most of my writing time this week was working on a one-act play for my drama class. I'm headed home for a week on Monday, where I'll be seeing family, doing TONS of final papers/projects, and doing some play work for a few competitions, so I'm not sure how much writing for the site I'll get done, but we'll see. For tonight:
+ch. 2 of: modern fiction: The Night Sky
+ch. 11 of: modern fiction: Photographs
+ch. 11 of: ob fanfiction: The 409 FINISHED! Ok, haha, no, I'm kidding. Tell me if there's anyone who would be happy with it ending where it does . . .
+ch. 3 of: lotr fanfiction: Ivorwen
+ch. 5 of: narnia fanfiction: Gemstone
I'll definitely update with SOMETHING next week, though it might come earlier or later than Friday because I'm not sure when I'll have an internet connection. That's all for now!

Friday, November 14th
I was worried there wouldn't be many updates, but there's actually a TON. First of all, as you can see, there's a new layout! It's very simple; I was feeling a bit cluttered by the old layout. The graphics section and quotes sections will both soon be undergoing overhauls, so that's exciting. Oh, and I've decided to start putting pictures up with some nonfiction pieces, but I don't remember which ones I added pictures too, haha, so click around.
+ch. 4 of: narnia fanfiction: Gemstone
+ch. 3 of: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning
+ch. 3 of: modern fiction: The Fall of Luxley Hall
+new story: modern fiction: The Night Sky
+new nonfiction short story: What's in a label?
+new nonfiction short short: conversation
+5 new antique stories: Colors; Untold Tale; Magic Attic Club; New School; Smoking
+3 antique poems: Young Poet (first three from top of page)

Friday, November 7th
Well I had actually hoped to get at least one more thing done, but it's been a long stressful week, so please forgive and enjoy what I DO have for you:
+new story: narnia fanfiction: When Goodbyes Lose Their Meaning
+ch. 2 of ^
+ch. 3 of: narnia fanfiction: Gemstone
+ch. 12 of: lotr fanfiction: Glory Bound
+ch. 8 of: lotr fanfiction: Little Elf
+ch. 10 of: ob fanfiction: The 409
+new modern short-short: LOVE
+new nonfiction piece: Paris Project
+3 new poems: Poetry Journal
Also, as you'll see, I did some rearranging. Nonfiction, Historical Fiction, Fanfiction, and Modern Fiction all have their own pages off of the writing page, and there's a new section under modern fiction for short-shorts, and I moved the appropriate stories into that section. Also fixed two of the short stories that were still on the layout from two years ago!
Okay, I think that is everything. For those of you who are curious, my nanowrimo status right now is 13,998/50,000, and that's NOT including the two school papers I've written this week. Plugging along! :)

Monday, November 3rd
Just a note: I've decided that i can best benefit by utilizing nanowrimo to try and get some of these stories FINISHED that are already on the site, because we all know I've never been good at that. What this means is, there will hopefully be many, many updates; 50,000 words worth of updates, haha. So do check back, do let me know if you're reading, and if you're liking what you're reading, and if there's anything in particular you would like to see updated. I've already got several things for Friday, so I'll see y'all then! :)
